Take me out to the ballpark
Daddy took me to my first major league baseball game tonight when we watched the Memphis Redbirds. We enjoyed the Medtronic suite (Mommy's favorite way to watch the game) and watching the Redbirds win. I must say that everytime they shot the cannon off (three home runs) I was pleased to still be wearing a diaper.
Ryder turned nine months old yesterday. He had his nine month doctor visit were he weighed in at 19.7 lbs and measured 29 inches. He got his shots and didn't even cry.
This past week, I spent time in Indiana and Michigan attending the 90th birthday party for Great Grandma Behymer and the 60th birthday of Grandma Hutton. I am very fortunate to have been able to spend time with them on such special days. I am not very good at math yet but I am amazed that they are respectfully 127x's and 85x's my age!
I spent part of my summer vacation with my best friend, Bryson. We had a blast playing, wrestling, crying and eating. Not only do we look different (i.e. length), we sound different and do things differently. Bryson taught me a bunch and I cannot wait to see him again in October.
Ryder's first Fourth of July was a weekend of first: airplane flight, train ride, riding on a bus, eating watermelon, floating on a boat, watching fireworks, and going to the beach (playing in the sand and ocean). Quite an eventful trip to Hilton Head Island, SC.
I wanted to introduce you to my first and favorite babysitter, Gladys. Gladys and I got to know each other at FLICC. She helps me with my Spanish, makes me laugh and most importantly makes me feel safe when mommy and daddy are not around.
